I get a kick out of hearing the president or presidential candidates saying they know how to win a war. These aren't the days when rulers go to battle with their troops. Presidents don't lead the wars and they don't win the wars. They rely on the Pentagon and the warriors to do a professional job. The key is the president must listen to what is needed and combine diplomacy to ensure wars are won. ...more
