A Trinity fundraiser this weekend will benefit abused children in Pasco County. Aquaterra Salon and Spa, 7813 Mitchell Blvd. in Trinity, is opening its doors after business hours today to host a cut-a-thon fundraiser in support of Pasco Kids First. All proceeds from this event, scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m., will benefit the nonprofit organization "dedicated to the prevention, assessment and treatment of child abuse and neglect," according to a news release. ...more

I know all local businesses can't wait for the "snowbirds" to arrive, and aid in the help of stimulating our local economy to last through the summer months. Well, I opened my business in April 2008 with the fear of making it through the summer even with the recent departure of the northerners.
