Woman Dragged Dog To Death, Deputies Say
RIVERVIEW - A Hillsborough County deputy pulled over a Riverview woman this morning after noticing her dragging a leashed dog behind her pickup, officials said. Maria Alvizo, 27, did not know the dog was tied to the bumper of the 1991 Ford F-150 when she left her home about 7 a.m., the sheriff's office said. The dog died of its injuries. ...more
