SEBRING — It wasn't a load of peaches a Georgia man was stopped transporting Wednesday afternoon through Highlands County. The man remained in Highlands County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail Thursday, after he was stopped while transporting enough marijuana to make 900 marijuana cigarettes, according to the sheriff's office. Shane Carlton, 21, of Cornelia, Ga., was booked on charges of possession of narcotics equipment to manufacture or deliver and distribution of marijuana.
