PLANT CITY – O'Brien's Irish Pub & Grill is sponsoring a fundraiser Saturday in memory of slain Hillsborough County sheriff's Sgt. Ron Harrison to benefit Tampa Bay area youth football leagues. The Plant City O'Brien's, 1701 S. Alexander St., is calling the Oct. 20 fundraiser "Memory of a Hero," in honor of Harrison. Harrison was shot and killed Aug. 15 while driving his cruiser home after completing a DUI training exercise in Brandon. The assailant was later killed in a shootout with officers. ...more
