Swing your partner at Strawberry Square

PLANT CITY - Fall dance lessons begin early next month in this community that caters to square and round dance enthusiasts.

Strawberry Square, 4401 Promenade Blvd., was established for folks who like to square dance. There are regular dances and classes at the community off Beauchamp/Boot Bay Road.

Here's a list of the classes that begin soon:

Square dance lessons for beginners will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays starting Nov. 2 with caller/teacher Roland Blanchette. The first lesson on Nov. 2 is free.

Plus square dance lessons for those who haven't danced for a while or need a brush-up will be 8 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays starting Nov. 2 with Blanchette as the caller.

Beginner round dance lessons will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sundays starting Nov. 8 with cuers Charlie and Leona Lovelace.
