PLANT CITY - Shop until you drop Sunday and help a good cause.
South Florida Baptist Foundation's eighth annual Fall Fancy fundraiser will be from noon to 3 p.m. at the home of Mayor Rick Lott and his wife Di, who live at 3200 Polo Place in the Walden Lake subdivision.
Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the home and shop with such vendors as All A Bloom Florist, Celebrating Home, Denise Young's Boutique, Fashion Home & Gift/Herban Cowboy and others. There will be a total of 11 vendors offering items ranging from jewelry to purses to lotions, foundation Executive Director Judy Martin said. There will also be a "pick a prize" auction, with tickets selling for $1 each or 25 for $20.
Hopewell Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens is the presenting sponsor.
Tickets are $30 per person and include a lunch buffet by Alexander's Café.
The event is designed to help kick off the Christmas shopping season.
Proceeds go to the foundation, which supports many special programs at South Florida Baptist.
Reservations are required; call the foundation office at (813) 757-8478 for information and tickets.
