PLANT CITY - If you were planning to participate in the corn toss tournament to support Plant City High School, you'll have to wait a few months.
The Raider Nation Cornhole Tournament, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed until March 27.
Organizers postponed the Plant City High fundraiser because only 10 teams signed up, organizer Di Lott said. Other changes will be made, including lowering the team registration fee to $30.
Lott said she will offer gift certificates for the rescheduled fundraiser that people can buy as Christmas stocking stuffers. The certificates will be available at the student affairs office at the high school at One Raider Place, off Alexander Street, or by contacting Lott at di@zenosolutions.com.
The tournament will raise money for senior scholarships, student academic rewards and programs for freshmen.
