Here is the daily schedule for the Florida Strawberry Festival:

Today

Military Day - Ride-A-Thon Day
Free gate admission all day for active and retired military personnel. Ride-A-Thon from 3 to 11 p.m. A wristband purchased at the midway for $17 entitles the wearer to ride most mechanical rides.

10 a.m.: Gates open

10 a.m.-3 p.m.: Poultry and rabbit shows, CF Industries Ag Tent

Noon: Midway opens

3-11 p.m.: Ride-A-Thon

3:30 p.m.: Brenda Lee, GTE FCU Soundstage

6 p.m.: Youth steer show, TECO Livestock Arena
7:30 p.m.: Ray Stevens, GTE FCU Soundstage

Thursday

Senior Citizen Day - Ride-A-Thon Day

Patrons ages 60 and older get $2 off the gate admission of $10 all day. Ride-A-Thon from 3 to 11 p.m. A wristband purchased at the midway for $17 entitles the wearer to ride mechanical rides.

10 a.m.: Gates open

10:30-11:30 a.m.: The Guy Lombardo Orchestra, GTE FCU Soundstage

11:30-noon: Senior citizens drawing, GTE FCU Soundstage

Noon: Midway opens

3 p.m.: Strawberry shortcake eating contest, Stingray Chevrolet Entertainment Tent

3-11 p.m.: Ride-A-Thon

3:30 p.m.: Mel Tillis, GTE FCU Soundstage

7:30 p.m.: Lorrie Morgan, GTE FCU Soundstage

Friday
Moonlight Magic Night - The Tampa Tribune Day on the midway

During The Tampa Tribune Day on the midway, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., get $2 off the regular price of $20 for the fun pack ride coupon book. During Moonlight Magic, from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., ride most mechanical rides for $20 per person. All patrons entering the midway for the event will be required to purchase a wristband.

10 a.m.: Gates open

Noon: Midway opens

3-5 p.m.: Livestock contestant judging contest, TECO Livestock Arena
3:30 p.m.: Ronnie McDowell, GTE FCU Soundstage

6 p.m.: Beef breed showmanship judging, CF Industries Ag Tent

7:30 p.m.: Jeff Foxworthy, GTE FCU Soundstage

7:30 p.m.: Florida Opry, Sweetbay Showcase Tent

11 p.m.-3 a.m.: Moonlight Magic, midway

Saturday

Youth in Agriculture Day

10 a.m.: Gates open, midway opens

10:15 a.m.: Baby parade, GTE FCU Soundstage

3:30 p.m.: Mark Lowry, GTE FCU Soundstage

7 p.m.: Youth steer sale, TECO Livestock Arena
7:30-10 p.m.: The Rev. Art Jones and the Bible Based Fellowship Cathedral Choir, Sweetbay Showcase Tent

7:30 p.m.: Kool & The Gang, GTE FCU Soundstage

Sunday

Family Day

10 a.m.: Gates open, midway opens

Noon: Youth beef breed show, CF Industries Ag Tent

3 p.m.: Trent Tomlinson; Love and Theft; Chad Brock and Killer Beaz, GTE FCU Soundstage

7:30 p.m.: Jessica Simpson, GTE FCU Soundstage

The festival grounds are at 2202 W. Reynolds St., Plant City. Festival admission tickets purchased in advance at area Sweetbay Supermarkets are $8 for ages 13 and older and $4 for ages 6 to 12. Admission prices at the gate are $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Children 5 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Headline concert tickets are $10 to $35 for reserved seats, depending on the artist and seat location. A limited number of seats are available for free at each concert. There is no admission charge to the 3 p.m. Sunday concert.

Concert tickets are not good for admission to the festival grounds.
