PLANT CITY Keith Deltano will employ his comedic talents to encourage good decision making when he brings his show, "The New Sexual Revolution," to Shiloh Baptist Church.
The free 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13 show at the church, 905 W. Terrace Drive, Plant City, will feature comedy, music and food and is open to all, including parents.
Deltano calls his performance "serious comedy" which, he explained in a telephone interview: "All my shows have sometimes controversial topics involved with them and that's where the serious comedy comes in."
Deltano said his program dealing with teen sexual behavior combines Scripture, audience interaction and cultural commentary into an unusual style of uplifting commentary. It can, however, be graphic and, therefore, recommended only for ages 13 and older. He urges parents view a clip of his show on his Web site: www.DefyConformity.com.
Immediately following the show, Deltano will conduct a workshop just for parents, providing tips on protecting teens from sex-saturated media, pornography and how to discuss the consequences of teen sexual activity.
