Florida Opry Plans One-Night Stand At Festival

PLANT CITY Fans of strawberries and the Florida Opry are in luck.

The opry will stage a show March 6 at he Florida Strawberry Festival grounds.

The show starts at 6 p.m. in the Sweetbay Supermarket Showcase Tent, near the festival administrative office in the southeast corner of the festival grounds.

The opry is free for the price of admission to the festival. Featured performers include fiddler Stephanie Ann, country vocalist Tina Dallman, Spirit Song and Southern Exposure Band.

The opry returns to its usual venue, the 1914 Plant City High School Community Center, 605 N. Collins St. for its next show. That show, from 7 to 11 p.m. March 28, features the Foothill Bluegrass Band, Tina Dallman, Ronda Kelly and Gospel Truth Quartet. Tickets are $12 general admission and $15 reserved.
