AT&T Adding Cell Tower Near Walden Lake

PLANT CITY - One of the nation's largest wireless carriers is adding another cell site in the Plant City area near Walden Lake.
AT&T is putting a new site on an existing 175- to 180-feet tall monopole off Reece Road, near the intersection of Turkey Creek and Sydney roads.
AT&T spokeswoman Kelly Layne Starling said the equipment expands and enhances the company's service.
The company is adding about 100 cell sites in the state this year to improve service. The company has added a number of cell sites in the Plant City in recent months.
AT&T, formerly Cingular Wireless, has more than 77 million subscribers to its voice and data network.
