Same Place, New Name

PLANT CITY Visitors to the Florida Strawberry Festival will notice that the main stage has a new name.

GTE Federal Credit Union is the title sponsor for the stage. Previous sponsors have included Southern Chevrolet dealers and Chrysler.

This is the first year the credit union is participating in the festival.

All the headline performers appear on the renamed GTE Federal Credit Union Festival Sound Stage. The credit union will also have a display booth and representatives at the festival each day, to greet visitors and answer questions.

Visitors to the Florida Strawberry Festival who are not members of GTE Federal Credit Union can join by presenting any ticket from the event at any credit union branch, and the membership fee will be waived.
