Flag football sign-up begins

PLANT CITY - The Plant City Recreation & Parks Department/Optimist Youth Flag Football Program is conducting registration for its upcoming season, the 43rd in program history.
Registration forms may be downloaded via the department's Web site, plantcitygov.com/rec, or obtained at the administrative office, 1904 S. Park Road, Plant City. Cost is $35 per player.

Age groups, all coed, are: 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12 and 13-15. A birth certificate is required for registration.

Games are played at the Otis M. Andrews Sports Complex, and the season runs Sept. 19 though Nov. 7.

Call-outs, where the players are evaluated for selection onto their respective teams, are mandatory and will be held Sept. 8.
