PLANT CITY Author Bruce Hunt, whose books include a look at Florida bed and breakfasts, will be the featured speaker at an April 16 membership meeting of the Friends of the Bruton Memorial Library.
The free program will start at 7 p.m. at the library, 302 W. McLendon St.
The event is "sure to be of interest to anyone who enjoys learning about Florida history, historic bed and breakfasts and small-town places to visit in Florida," a news release said.
Hunt, a native Floridian, is an author, photographer and illustrator living in Tampa. He has written for newspapers and magazines and has authored seven books, including, "Adventure Sports in Florida," "Visiting Small-Town Florida" and "Florida's Finest Inns and Bed & Breakfasts."
He will speak on his research and show and discuss numerous slides of photos from his books. Several titles will be available for sale at the event, and he will be available to autograph the books.
