Plant City Community Choir Needs More Singers

PLANT CITY The Plant City Community Choir is gearing up for a performance during the April 17 at the Relay for Life at Plant City High School. Choir director Joe Mendolia is looking for three or four new singers to join the group.

"We have about 23 members in the choir, but we still need a few more to join us for this and other performances," Mendolia said. "We are looking for singers ranging from professional to beginners and high school students to senior adults. We welcome people ninth-grade and older to join us."

Rehearsals are from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays at Church on the Rock, 301 E. Alsobrook St., Plant City.
"The choir is planning many exciting events including a Fourth of July celebration, a fall concert and a performance at Disney World this December," Mendolia said.
