PLANT CITY The city is winning its war on nuisance plants at a lake that's the centerpiece of Samuel W. Cooper Park.
The lake is looking "very, very nice" after the latest treatments to eliminate unwanted vegetation, City Manager David Sollenberger said.
The lake was treated in May and June and a third treatment will be applied in February, if needed.
The 10-acre Samuel W. Cooper Lake is at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Lake Street.
