Lions Club Launching Annual Drive

PLANT CITY Postal workers in the Plant City area will be picking up old eyeglasses from Tuesday through June 7 as part of an annual drive by the Plant City Lions Club.
The club, which supports sight-related causes, is mailing out about 24,000 flyers advertising the drive. Each year, the club collects more than 3,000 pairs of eyeglasses that are processed and given to the needy in developing countries.
