PLANT CITY A coffee shop known for its eclectic entertainment has added a crash course in a foreign language to the menu.
Stop by Espress Yourself Coffee 101 on Mondays for a free 20-minute lesson in basic Spanish.
"It's very introductory, basically for anybody who might want to follow up with more extensive classes, one on one," said Heather Davis, owner of the downtown coffee shop at 101 E.J. Arden Mays Blvd.
Classes are from 12:20 to 12:40 p.m. every Monday this month, and probably beyond, Davis said. "It will be going on as long as there's interest," she said.
Plant City resident Sandra Hudson leads the classes, tailored to meet the needs of participants, Davis said.
Other regular Espress Yourself activities include bluegrass jam sessions, drum circle, open mic night and live entertainment.
