Speaker To Promote Religious Conference

PLANT CITY Dave Dunkel, president and chief executive officer of a Tampa-based firm, will speak next month to a local business group.

Dunkel of Kforce Professional Staffing will be featured at a Jan. 15 breakfast meeting of Marketplace Events of Florida, an organization formerly known as Strategic Marketplace Connections. The Plant City group was founded by the Rev. Norm Blanton and promotes the use of Christian values in the business world.

The organization periodically brings in high-profile guests such as Dunkel for its breakfast meetings.
The event starts at 7:15 a.m. at the Red Rose Inn and Suites, 2011 N. Wheeler St., Plant City. Tickets, which include breakfast, are $10.

Dunkel will speak on the impact minister and author Henry Blackaby has had on his life. Blackaby and his son Richard are coming to Plant City Feb. 6-7 for a seminar sponsored by the marketplace group.

Dunkel is "an excellent speaker," Blanton said.
