PLANT CITY Public safety employees, including police officers and firefighters, and their families, will be treated to a free dinner at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at First Baptist Church of Plant City.
Members of the First Baptist Brotherhood have been honoring public safety workers for a number of years. The guest speaker is Plant City Fire Rescue Chief George Shiley.
The meal includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and dessert. Members of the public can attend for $5 per person.
The meal will be served in the fellowship hall of the church at 503 N. Palmer St.
