General Manager Selected For Plant City Hotel

PLANT CITY The city's newest hotel now has a general manager.
The Shaner Hotel Group announced last week that Cindy Robinson has been selected for the post at its Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites at County Line Road and Interstate 4. The hotel is scheduled to open in January.
Robinson has a background in hospitality sales and management, including most recently as general manager for the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Tampa.
"Cindy Robinson brings an ideal combination of outstanding hospitality operations skills and entrepreneurial spirit," said Robert Spraker, corporate director of sales and marketing for the State College, Pa.-based Shaner.
The 87-room, 44,000-square-foot Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott will include a spa and outdoor pool.
