PLANT CITY - With a week left in the regular season, one thing is certain in the Plant City Recreation and Parks Department/Optimist Flag Football program.

No one knows who's going to win the Premier League.

Through five Saturdays of play, half of the league's 10 teams had one loss. The last unbeaten team was the Eagles, until a 21-15 loss to the Falcons on Oct. 13. Tyler Roberts scored two touchdowns, and Justin Piechowiak added the other for the Falcons.

With the win, the Falcons ran their record to 4-1 to tie the Eagles, Jets and Titans. The Lions are 3-1-1.

Jackson Hardee ran for a pair of touchdowns in a 34-12 Jets win over the Cowboys in Week 5; the Titans rolled by the Panthers 37-6; and the Lions got two touchdowns from Clark Haynes in a 24-12 defeat of the Chiefs.

The Premier League is for boys and girls ages 10 to 12 and its playoffs will begin Monday. All of the games take place at the Otis M. Andrews Sports Complex.

Meanwhile, in the Junior League, for ages 6 and 7 where no postseason tournament is held, it's all going to come down to one game. The undefeated Rabbits and Wildcats have been scheduled for the final week of the season. They will play at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

In Week 5, the Rabbits got by the Frogs 19-14, with Tyler Bosse, Jerry Rich Jr. and Dylan Williams scoring the touchdowns. Patrick Hicks scored on three touchdown runs in the Wildcats' 34-12 win over the Bobcats.

The Indians took over second place by defeating the Pilgrims 24-12. Ethan Sparkman scored twice.

The Steelers and Broncos, who tied 6-6 on opening day and remain unblemished since, both won Oct. 13 to stay atop the Senior League, ages 8 and 9. Trevor Violett ran for two scores and passed for another as the Steelers beat the Bears 21-12.

Charles Box III delivered two touchdowns, and the Broncos topped the Ravens 19-6.
