Former officer with the Edgecombe, N.C., Sheriff's Office and Nashville Police Department with good recommendations

Born and resides in Plant City; married with two children, she is 42

Graduated Polk Community College Law Enforcement Academy December 2006

Joined Plant City police April 9

JOHN E. HARRISON

Born in Kansas City, Kan., where he graduated high school; lives in Valrico; married with three children, he is 41

Received associate's degree from U.S. Air Force Community College, bachelor's degree from Embry Riddle Aero University and MBA from Touro University; attended Georgia Tech and received Federal Aviation Administration aviation certificate

Joined Air Force 1985, attended Officer Training School 2001 and received an officer commission.
